Past
My background in finance began in unsecured lending, working for a loan brokerage in their operations team. With this being a small business, I really got to understand everything from the foundations up, and at a young age understood the systems and processes needed to grow a scaleable company. These included the range of management information (MI) reporting required, the importance of data security, and reducing human error through tech without having an overreliance on this.
Present
I was one of the founding members of The City & Capital Group and City & Capital Acquisitions, which is now The Exit Partnership. Having been with the group for over 5 years, I was recently promoted to board level to help shape and direct the future of the business. My role in The Exit Partnership is managing all things operational, to improve processes, reduce risk, and help to scale the business. I oversee the operations executives across the group.
Future
My future is firmly committed to the City & Capital Group and the companies within. We are constantly reviewing the systems we use and implementing improvements to deliver a great service to clients. As the team grows, I will be involved in training and development to ensure all operational aspects are understood and followed. We have not cornered the market on good ideas, so as new members join we encourage them to review what we are doing and have the confidence to help us to improve with new ideas and suggestions.
