Katherine Harvey

Head of Projects

Past

I began my financial services career at a large life and pensions company in Edinburgh.

Starting in an intermediary sales role and then progressing on to a management position in service development, I came to focus on managing relationships, tailoring the service proposition for key accounts, and identifying and implementing business improvements within the company’s line areas.

After a break of nearly a decade, I returned to financial services in 2015, and have worked in financial planning businesses ever since.

From paraplanner to operations director, I have operated in a variety of roles, qualifying as a Chartered Financial Planner in 2020. Most recently, I delivered the due diligence for the acquisition of my previous firm.

Present

I pride myself on my adaptability and love a challenge, so I’m excited to be involved in the design and execution of key projects at The Exit Partnership.

Wealth management M&A is a dynamic space with a wide breadth of opportunity. Projects often need to be scoped and delivered at pace, and this is an area where I can add value to the team, bringing my experience in areas like the delivery of due diligence to clients.

Future

I look forward to growing with the business over the coming years as we continue to expand and finesse our unique, market-changing proposition.

In the financial planning profession, we talk a lot about “good client outcomes”. This is at the core of everything financial planning professionals do for their clients.

Exiting business owners should apply this same mantra to themselves. They deserve the best possible outcomes, and we are here to use our real-world experience to help them achieve just that.
